The Central Operations team is scaling the most impactful projects across Spain. The team's unique focus on the entire country allows us to dream big and drive outsized change in areas like marketplace dynamics, logistics, consumer growth, or restaurant engagement. Within Central Operations, our Consumer Growth team is focused on optimizing user growth, engagement, retention, pricing and membership strategy. This role calls for a combination of strategic thinking, analytical skills, project management, and an understanding of how marketplace unit economics work.

What You'll Do

  • Own large-scale projects, run experiments and execute promotional campaigns to drive user acquisition and re-engagement;
  • Manage the millions’ of users’ lifecycle, and define segmentation strategies based on analytical insights;
  • Develop useful tools, dashboards, and processes to track performance and drive actionable insights; report findings to senior leadership to define long-term strategy and decision-making;
  • Manage the consumer growth budget to ensure it is invested in efficient growth levers, while meeting our broader business objectives;
  • Devise business cases and recommendations for growth opportunities based on a thorough cost-benefit assessment
  • Improve unit economics by nudging users to more profitable choice, improving order size and retention;
  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with other operations teams as well as Finance, Product, Support to ensure insights inform broader critical initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Up to 3 years of operational and analytical experience in a similar role (such as Operations, Growth, Tech, Finance/Consulting, Product Marketing), having managed stakeholders and demonstrated an ability to adapt to a fast-moving working environment;
  • Self-starter with an analytical orientation; compassionate and leans in and embraces rolling up your sleeves with your team; skilled at balancing between short-term needs and long-term investments; flourishes with change and comfortable with ambiguity;
  • Bias toward action and constant push for clarity and execution;
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate results in a structured and compelling manner to less technical audiences;
  • Exceptional Excel/Google Sheets skills and data visualization;
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, economics, STEM, or other related field);
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken & written) is a requirement.

Highly Valued

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as stakeholder management, consensus building, and project management: you will be the advocate of the consumer internally in Uber;
  • SQL proficiency is strongly preferred;
  • Ability to run experiments and A/B test different strategies or solutions.
